Serve Locally With Life Bible Fellowship Church

Upland Manor Senior Christian Living

Upland Manor is a non-profit independent Senior Christian Living Community that focuses on providing whole care for both the body and soul. Volunteers can assist with Christ-centered quarterly crafts and activities, as well as other events – sharing the Gospel and showing love to the residents.

Operation Christmas Child

OCC helps spread the Good News of Jesus Christ in the form of simple shoebox gifts to children around the world. LBF Church hosts area training events, serves as a collection center, and packs hundreds of shoeboxes each year.

Partner: Adonai Family Services

Adonai strives to help families of children battling cancer or other life-threatening illnesses. Our goal is to have volunteers visit children in clinics and hospitals, and help with food and crafts booths at yearly special events.

Project: Adopt a School

We are partnering with Upland schools to provide books for needy students and occasional garden supplies. Our main ministry is blessing Upland teachers and staff by serving coffee and words of encouragement. We choose two schools a year to be “adopted” by our congregation and blessed with a gift for the classroom.

Partner: Assure Pregnancy Clinic

Assure is a licensed medical clinic that provides hope and help for women facing an unplanned pregnancy. There are many volunteer opportunities at the clinic or at events held for the new mothers.

Ministry: Upland Community Resource Center

A new Ministry of LBF Church to provide services to the homeless, eviction prevention, and housing services to families and individuals in need.

Partner: Crossroads

Crossroads assists formerly incarcerated women transition from prison to successful self-sufficiency. There are volunteer opportunities ranging from helping in the office, monthly work projects on the houses, to throwing birthday parties.

Partner: Foothill Family Shelter

A local nonprofit that houses homeless adults and children for up to 120 days, free of rent.

Partner: FrontSight Military Outreach

A nonprofit organization operated entirely by veterans who share and understand the needs and struggles faced by veterans.

Partner: Growing Pains

A resource group for students and teens who are parents of babies, young children, or who are pregnant.

Partner: Inland Valley Hope Partners

This program works to provide food, shelter, and supportive services to the homeless and at-risk families. Volunteers can help at the food bank by organizing food orders for those in need. They can also participate in the annual Walk for the Hungry and Homeless in October, and other yearly outreaches.

Partner: CASA of SB County

CASA of SB County recruits, trains, and supervises volunteers to advocate and mentor for youth in foster care within San Bernardino County.

Partner: Pacific Lifeline

Pacific Lifeline is a faith-based ministry and shelter serving homeless women and their children. While at the shelter, the women are assisted in rebuilding their lives and achieving personal and social stability. The volunteer opportunities range from office help, participation with landscaping, being involved with various work projects, and helping move families.

Partner: Newcomers Access Center

NAC helps refugee and immigrant families connect with appropriate services and resources in order to aid them to become self-sufficient and integrate meaningfully into the larger society.

Meet Your Local Global Serving Pastor

Hunter Gray was raised in Tennessee, growing up enjoying sweet tea and the Great Smoky Mountains. He felt the call towards missions earlier on in his faith. In 2012, Hunter gained his Master of Divinity from The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary and afterward became a missionary in Japan, prior to meeting his wife, Kelsi. His wife was also a missionary, and after a providential encounter in a bank, they fell in love and began pursuing missions and evangelism together, marrying in 2015. Hunter and Kelsi served together first in Kosovo and then later in Japan before arriving here at LBF. Acts 1:8
