Serving Opportunities
Pacific Lifeline
Pacific Lifeline is a faith-based ministry and shelter serving homeless women and their children. Their goal is to eliminate the threat of chronic homelessness for these families by providing the structure that allows them to establish a solid foundation and gain self-sufficiency.

Pacific Lifeline
Volunteers can sort donations, help with mailers, assist with events, do light landscape work, help with children’s group activities, tutor moms and/or kids, lead life-skills workshops, help prepare rooms when new families move in, and help decorate for the holidays.
New Commandment Ministry
Small teams once a month (about two hours) help widows and single moms with home repairs and maintenance: mowing, fixing sprinklers, painting and other household repairs.

New Commandment Ministry
Did you know that LBF has over 50 widows in our congregation, not to mention many single moms. These women sometimes struggle to keep up with repairs and maintenance at their homes. James 1:27 instructs us to take care of widows and the fatherless.
To help carry out our Lord’s instruction, LBF is currently developing teams of men to assist these women. If you are a man who has the ability to mow a lawn, fix a sprinkler, paint a wall, or any household task, then this is a ministry for you!
Once a month for two hours, men will go out in small teams to work at these women’s homes. Showing them the love of God, one fixed sprinkler, leaky toilet, and broken window screen at a time.

Honduras Exit83
Partnering with Orphanage Emmanuel
Dates: 6/24/26 – 7/2/26
Cost: $1,400
Leader: Ryan Soule and Ruben Romero
The Honduras GO Team is an opportunity for our Exit83 8th-12th graders to join the ministry of Orphanage Emmanuel in sharing the good news and love of Jesus with the 300+ children and staff. This ministry has been rescuing children, and making an impact for the Kingdom for the last 30+ years, and we are honored to get to be part of it. The details of this trip include ministry times with the children and Emmanuel staff through times of worship through music, Bible study, prayer, games, art and crafts, various work projects, and much more. Our Exit83 team will also share in times of testimony as well as team building. Though the ministry and housing aspect of this trip are secure, each student should be prepared for long days, warm/humid temperatures (typically) and limited “comforts” of home. But we promise, it is SO worth it. Talk with Jeff Taylor, Tim Longo, Ryan Soule, Brennan Shaw, or NUMEROUS Exit83 students who have been part of this trip over the last 9 years. Team members must be 14 years of age or older.
