Currently in the book of 1 Samuel, exploring the transition of Israel from judges to kings and what it reveals about God’s leadership, faithfulness, and calling. Together, we’ll study the lives of Samuel, Saul, and David—looking at themes of obedience, humility, courage, and trusting God in seasons of waiting and challenge.

Through weekly discussion and Scripture study, men will be encouraged to grow as godly leaders in their homes, workplaces, and communities, while building strong relationships with one another. No prior Bible knowledge is required—just a willingness to learn, share, and grow together.

Without Wavering,  by Alexandra Hoover , encourages women to build a steady, resilient faith by anchoring their hearts in God’s promises. Drawing from Scripture, biblical stories, and the example of Jesus, this study helps women face doubt, discouragement, and life’s storms with hope and endurance. In a chaotic world, Without Wavering offers practical, Scripture-centered guidance for trusting God and standing firm in faith.

James | The Steadfast Life by The Daily Grace Co. is a 7-week Bible study that walks verse by verse through the Book of James. It focuses on what it really looks like to live out our faith in everyday life—especially through trials, seeking wisdom, praying faithfully, and watching our words. This study encourages us to be doers of the Word, not just hearers, and helps us see how genuine faith shows up in real, practical ways. Along the way, you’ll explore themes like finding joy in hard seasons, understanding God’s character, and how faith and works go hand in hand.

This group will be studying Now and Not Yet by Ruth Chou Simons encourages us to lean into the season we’re in—even when life doesn’t look the way we hoped it would. This book reminds us that right now matters and that God is at work in the waiting. Through honest reflections and guided prayers, you’ll learn how to embrace today, see hard seasons with new perspective, and live faithfully in the tension between where you are and where you long to be. It’s an invitation to press in, not check out, and to trust God in the in-between.

Together, we design and create cards that are sent to church members, children’s hospitals, senior living communities, and our military troops—offering encouragement, hope, and joy to those who receive them. There’s something truly special about receiving a card made with love and prayer. No creative experience is necessary, and all supplies are provided. Whether you’re artistic or simply have a heart to serve, this is a meaningful way to bless others through a simple but powerful act of kindness.

For women who know how to sew, knit or crochet this group meets for fellowship, friendship and prayer. Each lap quilt made will be prayed over and given to someone who is ill or needing comfort. Baby blankets are donated to Assure Pregnancy Clinic and a local hospital.

The LAMBS are a group of senior women who have lived full lives, raised families, and are now embracing this joyful season after midlife. This group offers encouragement, prayer, and lasting friendships.

Twice a month, members come together at a local restaurant to share a meal, enjoy heartfelt conversation, and laugh together.

Answer the call: Serve Widows and Women in Need through New Commandment Ministry

LBF Church has over 50 widows and many single moms in our congregation—women who sometimes struggle with home maintenance and repairs. James 1:27 calls us to care for widows and the fatherless, and this ministry is an opportunity to live out that command in a tangible way. We’re building teams of men to serve these women by tackling practical household tasks—mowing lawns, fixing sprinklers, patching walls, and more. One Saturday a month, for just two hours, you can make a lasting impact.
